About Amanda L

I've been a passionate musician for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Montgomery County, I was a member of many rock groups and studied voice, guitar, bass, and piano. In 2018, I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry, a combination of music theory, piano, voice, business, and audio engineering. After college, I became a freelance audio engineer and a vocal teacher before finally ending up at Music & Arts in late 2018. Here, I've gained a newfound passion for seeing people be matched with the instrument and lessons instructor of their dreams. To me, watching the growth and success of the people I meet is one of the most rewarding aspects of working here.

My musical taste includes rock, metal, post hardcore, broadway tunes, and k-pop; and I'm always looking for new music.
