About Cailey Shirley

Hello! My name is Cailey Shirley and I am the Assistant Store Manager/Store Ops Lead/Lesson Coordinator at Marietta Ken Stanton Music & Arts. I have been with Music & Arts for over 6 years now and I can truly say my job brings me a lot of joy. I love being able to help our local community with their musical needs and getting to watch our customers and lesson students grow as musicians. I am a percussionist and I have been drumming for around 25 years.

I attended Jacksonville State University in Alabama as a Music Education major and was a member of the Marching Southerners drum line from 2012 - 2014. I have both marched and played almost every percussion instrument out there in a concert setting over the years. My favorite percussion instruments would have to be marching tenors/quads, marching cymbals, and timpani. I am self-taught on my drum set, and I prefer Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Aquarian heads, and DW pedals.
