I was born and raised in Statesboro, Georgia. The drumset was where I developed my passion for music but switched to guitar a year later in the 8th grade. I completed a degree in music composition at Georgia Southern University in 2013. I spent a year teaching while I decided where to attend graduate school. I was most interested in learning to use music as a tool to help people so I attended Appalachain State University to complete a master's degree in music therapy. I am a board certified music therapist with advanced training in neurologic music therapy.
I enjoy learning about our customers' musical ambitions and discussing ways to facilitate the process of acheiving goals. I moved to Columbia in 2019 and started working for Music & Arts in July, 2020. My areas of expertise include composing, music technology, guitar, and music education. I also enjoy making skincare products, bird watching, and playing disc golf.
