About Dae R

Hello, my name is Dae! I began playing flute back in 2013 when I started band in sixth grade and immediately fell in love with everything music. From there I picked up piccolo, ukulele, and bass and I continue to want to learn anything I can get my hands on! In high school I continued playing flute while also being a part of my school’s color guard team and was introduced to the world of DCI and indoor performing arts. From there I was lucky enough to perform with an independent group at the 2022 WGI World Championship in Dayton, Ohio.  

I have been a part of a few groups as a bassist and enjoy the process of creating music. My music taste is all over the place and changes constantly, but my most consistent genres are goth, alternative rock/metal, and 80s Japanese city pop!
