About Dess Jackson

I am a Percussionist from Fayetteville, North Carolina! For a short period of time, my mother, 2 brothers, and I lived in Fort Hood, Texas due to my father serving in the US Army for 15 years.

I am currently a Music Education student at Fayetteville State University. Here I also participate in the Marching Band, Pep Band (Trumpet), and Symphonic Band, where I serve as Percussion Section Leader and a chapter member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc.

With this degree, I plan to teach music, starting at the primary level.

If desired, I will move up to secondary. 

Fun Facts About Me:

- I have "Perfect Pitch" (discovered when I was 14 years old).

- I arrange music for high school students in the area!

- I produce beats.

- I have two pet dogs (Rihanna and Onyx).

- I've been playing piano (self-taught) for 14 years and drums for 11 years!
