About Evan

Evan Oliveras is a recent graduate of the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University, earning a Bachelors in Music Performance on Trombone with a Minor in Jazz Studies. Before graduating from Syracuse, Evan spent the past 10 years in St. Mary's County. Attending Chopticon High School, he was a part of the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA), participated in every level of band plus Marching Band and Pep Band, All-County Band, Tri-County Band, and MDMEA Solo & Ensemble. During his time at Syracuse University he played a variety of genres, playing in the university's Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band (Pride of the Orange) and Pep Band (Sour Sitrus Society), along with various chamber groups. New to the Columbia area, Evan is excited to be in a new area to start a professional teaching/gigging career!
