About Bella Frias (She/They)

Hello! I'm Isabella Frias, most know me as Bella! I use she/they pronouns. I've had the pleasure of being with Music & Arts since May 2019 as Senior Sales Associate here at our Exton location.

Music has been an essential part of my life since starting band in 4th grade on flute; so much so that I've dedicated my life to it! I am a graduate of Woodbridge High School (NJ), where I had the opportunity to play various instruments and play in many ensembles: concert band, wind ensemble, marching band, jazz band, and pit orchestra. Currently, I attend West Chester University as a full-time, first-gen student for my Bachelor's degree in Music Education, with Teacher Certification PK-12; anticipated graduation May 2022. Throughout high school and college, I have also had the opportunity to march drum corps (DCA), where I've gained more knowledge and experience with brass and percussion instruments.

I am primarily an oboist and woodwind doubler on flute, clarinet, and saxophone. Although, I can also play trumpet, french horn, and mallet percussion. While working at Music & Arts, I've also picked up piano and guitar, and dabble with instrument repair in my spare time. Outside from Music & Arts, I teach marching band (locally) at Penn Wood High School, instructing the front ensemble and woodwind section. Aside from all things music, I love playing video games and collecting houseplants!

Working with Music & Arts, I am thrilled each and every day to be able to share my expertise as a musician and educator as I have an extensive knowledge on musical instruments -- band/orchestra/combo, accessories, and print music. My passion resides in making music more accessible for all ages.
