About Ivana Carlson

Ivana Carlson is a twenty-one-year-old musician from Tryon, NC. She has been playing the violin since she was four years old and has had the honor of playing with multiple local orchestras including the Greenville Symphony and the Spartanburg Philharmonic and is currently serving as concertmaster of the Converse Symphony Orchestra. She presently studies classical music with Dr. Courtney LeBauer at Converse University where she is majoring in Violin Performance. Her musical education also expands beyond classical music to include Celtic fiddling which she studies with renowned fiddler Jamie Laval. When she is not performing or practicing music she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
