About Jason Comeau

Get to know Jason Comeau
I started playing the guitar in 2001 shortly after I joined the Marine Corps. I played everything from rock to blues. About 10 years into playing, I decided to pursue my dreams of learning and mastering audio production in order to record the music I was starting to create. I used my GI Bill to take online courses at Berklee where the next three years I spent earning my certification in Audio Production and Technology along with Songwriting. Ive published 10 of my own albums and over 100 of my own songs. I also am well versed in playing the bass, taking courses at Berklee including slap/pop bass playing styles and even previously playing as a bassist in two local bands. Lastly, I have a fundamental understanding of Orchestration as Orchestration was the last course I took at Berklee before leaving the school. It felt imperative to have an understanding of band music and im glad I took the course because it has helped me immensely with my job here at Music & Arts.
I've settled down from actively recording to focus on my guitar playing again but I'm still active in the Audio Production communities, learning everything I can so I don't fall behind.
