John Catlos studied music (trumpet and voice), theater, and dance at The University of Akron. John performed in The University of Akron opera productions of Tosca, Ibrahim, Carmen, and Magic Flute. He also performed Ahmal and the Night Visitors and Pippin at Weathervane Playhouse. John is also a professional costume designer winning awards at Weathervane Playhouse. His designs have also been see on stage at North Canton Playhouse, West Branch Middle School, and Western Reserve Playhouse. John has also served as Director of Music/Choir Director at several Akron area churches. John currently serves as Interim Director of Choirs at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Akron.
