About John G

My name is John Gomez. I am the manager here at Peachtree City Music &Arts. I have been performing music since I was a young boy but started playing trombone in 6th grade in the early 90s. Since graduating from Gainesville High School in 2000, I have helped with band programs at every level.

While in college, I played with serveral different groups from Symphonic Bands and Orchestras to Jazz Bands and Pit Orchestras in Musicals. I also played with a Motown cover band called Statesboro Blues on the weekends.

In 2009, I earned my Bachalor's of Music in Music Education from Georgia Southern University. I have performed with and directed many bands in 6 years as a band director. Most recently, I was the Director of Bands at Alcovy High School.
