About Jt Gilstrap

JT has played drum set for 14 years since 2010, at 9 years old. He began playing in official setting in 2020 at church, and this was when his growth in lighting and audio grew. In addition to learning about being a drum tech, JT learned how to play guitar in 2021 including bass. Going into 2023 was when he started to apply it on stage as well as gigging and traveling to various churches. Leading into 2024, when he started working for a church in worship and production. JT learned a lot of academic aspects of music, production and instrument tech for backline as well as some basic knowledge that was passed to him by his church family. Everything else he taught himself. Needless to say JT is very passionate about music and will point people in the right direction to begin there incredible journey of loud drums and overdriven guitars.
