About Kayin Banks

Hello, My name is Kayin and I have been playing in the brass family ever since I first picked up an instrument. I play the tuba, in my time of playing the tuba I have actually played three types of tubas one being the concert tuba, another being the sousaphone, the last one being a contra tuba! I first started playing the tuba my 6th grade year in Middle School and ended up playing it throughout High School. While in High School I played in the RHHS Marching Band it was honestly the highlight of my life and my High School savior. My sophomore year of High School we actually started an Indoor Winds group and we went pretty far competition wise, including world championship (WGI). Ever since I Graduated High School I have lost my touch with music and that's why I decided to get a job here at Music & Arts to help reconnect me with music!
