Get to know Ken Kensky
Hi, I'm Ken, a NOVA local and percussionist since I joined concert band at age 11. I graduated from James Madison University with a BA in Media Arts and Design concentrating in Creative Advertising. I double minored in Jazz Studies and Africana Studies. I have experience on almost every percussion instrument in all sorts of ensembles, but my favorite is jazz vibraphone. I currently play with a jazz band based in DC, covering vibes, drums, piano, or auxiliary percussion depending on our needs.
