About Lexie Dishroon
Get to know Lexie Dishroon
Lexie Dishroon serves as the Operations Lead at Bailey Brothers Music & Arts. She has spent time in the field of music education and has teaching experience ranging from elementary general music to collegiate teaching. Most recently, Lexie taught band at Heritage Christian Academy and served as adjunct saxophone instructor for many schools in the Birmingham area under her small business, Enabled Music Making. During this time, she also developed a thriving saxophone studio with over 20 private students during the academic year. Lexie received her Bachelors of Music Education at the University of North Alabama and her Masters of Music Education at Samford University, where she served as Graduate Assistant for the Department of Music. She has varied performance and ensemble experience, including performing in wind ensembles, jazz bands, the UNA Marching Pride, world percussion ensembles, contemporary ensembles, and saxophone ensembles, as well as orchestra and solo performance experiences. Additionally, she has presented scholarly research at the regional and international level and has served with music education organizations including Music for All and Bands of America. Aside from her musical endeavors, Lexie loves spending time competing in sports, being outdoors, enjoying the company of friends, and volunteering in her community.
