About Marco M

My name is Marco! I have been working at Music & Arts since July 2016. I have been managing the Oakton location since August 2025. I was prevously the store manager at the Sterling location. 

I have been playing music since grade school. I have an associates in music performance from NVCC with a focus in Jazz.  While I do have a degree in violin performance I primarily play bass, guitar, and a little bit of piano, and drums. Aside from playing music, I also have knowledge in pro audio, and am familiar with Pro Tools, audio interfaces, and mic set ups. I do play out but usually as a fill. I've played at the Kennedy Center, NPR, and Jammin' Java to name a few venues.
