About Matthew Quick

The 6th born and youngest of his family, Matthew first began his musical journey at the age of 11 when he was gifted a drum set for Christmas.
The following year Matthew would go to join his middle school band, playing Trombone in Hudson Bend Middle School, playing first chair for his 3 years.
During his 2nd year of playing Trombone, Matthew picked up a guitar and taught himself how to play and has since taught himself how to play several other instruments, including Ukulele and Keyboard.
While Matthew was not trained to play, he's created many songs that can be found on sites such as Youtube and Soundcloud and he hopes to continue writing and eventually start producing music.

Matthew was born in Austin, Texas and lived in Lake travis for 22 years before moving to other parts of Texas.
