About Michael Williams
Get to know Michael Williams
I started playing percussion in 5th grade. After taking a music theory course as well as participating in the high school marching band, I decided I wanted to pursue music in college. I have since graduated with a bachelor's in music studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Throughout college I participated in a variety of ensembles such as percussion ensemble, jazz band, Wind Ensemble, as well as the University's marching band. I have also participated in independent marching ensembles, such as the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps based out of Nashua, New Hampshire, as well as United Percussion winter percussion ensemble. I am also a gigging musician and teacher, subbing in local symphony orchestras, playing in musical theater pits and teaching high school marching band percussion sections.
