Get to know Morgan S
I started my musical journey with the piano as a child where I got my foundation in music. When I was old enough, I was able to play the clarinet and enjoyed it throughout grade school. This led me to get involved in my high school's marching band. Memories I will always cherish. During my time in high school, I breifly learned how to play a little trumpet and played in a jazz band for two years. That is when I established a deep appreciation for jazz music. As a teen, I wanted to also learn how to play the viola, having been inspired by the Vitamin String Quartet. I started renting my first viola and taking lessons from Music & Arts with one of the instructors at the Music & Arts in Manassas. As an adult I took additional vocal lessons with one of our instructors here at Music & Arts. I loved the experience of taking vocal lessons with our instructors; because I know they provide me a better understanding of the pieces I am singing, along with a shared passion and enthusiasm about music. They also have helped me achieve my goals in the audition room. I am heavily involved with the local community theatres and was thoroughly involved with theatre in high school, including organizations such as the International Thespian Society and Cappies.
I have been a Music & Arts customer for a long time and I would like to thank them for giving me such a wonderful opportunity for providing students with lessons which help students reach their full potential as a musician. Helping a growing student fills my heart with joy because I know that when they come here they are in good hands.
