About Nanette Smith

Hey there! Before Music & Arts, I spent 6 years  teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 6th and 7th grade World History and Art. I taught in both New Jersey and South Dakota school systems. My undergrad is in Art History with concentration in the Renaissance Era. Studied Marketing management for my Graduate. I went to Drew University in Madison NJ and Berkeley College in NY. Throughout the years in between, I been in Human resources and Retail leadership since 2014 with multiple companies. I have been playing Alto Saxophone for over 11 years. Learning how to play Soprano Saxophone and Guitar. I personally participated in marching band in high school and jazz band in middle school. I like to play on my spare time, but I am mostly writing now. My passion for creativity is through the roof and I wish to share it with everyone I come in contact with.
