About Ronald J

I grew up in a family that was always making music or listening to music, a joy that I have passed on to my children.  I enjoy all types of music, but I really love jazz, especially big band.

I was a high school band booster leader for 7 years.  I thoroughly enjoy working with high school band students, and encouraging parents and administrators to actively support band programs.

I’ve been a Trumpet player for a long time, but have also played Baritone and French Horn.  I perform with multiple church ensembles, and in Legacy Worship Band, with players from around Alamance County and the Triangle.

I worked in land surveying, civil engineering, and land development as a project manager and design professional for many years, then as a substitute teacher in middle school and high school for several years.  I’m excited to be part of the staff at Music & Arts, and want to help you find the best options at the best prices for your musical needs.
