About Shaniya W

Hi, my name is Shaniya! I found my love for perucssion in high school when I started performing in concert and marching band. In 2019, I gratuated from UNC Pembroke with BA in Music and a Minor in Politcal Science. During my time in undergrad, I was able to study under Dr. Joseph Van Hassel and performed at various functions. Additionally, in my spare time, I taught beginner percussion lessons. 

I started working for Music and Arts in July of 2019. Outside of work, I enjoy watching anime, playing time with my dogs, cooking, trying new recipes, and playing video games.
