About Sherry Rice

Get to know Sherry Rice
Sherry Rice is an educator, director and vocalist who has taught over 25 years in Virginia and Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music/Education from Ashland University and a Certificate in Vocal Performance from the London College of Music. She studied acting in NYC under Sherri Levine and at Weist-Barron Studios.
As a performer, Sherry has sung professionally in several vocal ensembles in Kansas City, Atlanta and the DC area. She has performed in several college, off broadway and community theatre productions such as Pippin, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof, among others.
Sherry’s students are the recipients of numerous awards including All-County, All-District and All-State and National Honor Choir.
Sherry has been a clinician with Loudoun County Schools and has served as an adjudicator for VHSL and newly formed Glammies. She has directed several productions including Mary Poppins, Cinderella, Mean Girls, and a number of musical showcases
