About Stephen Darnell

My name is Stephen Darnell and I’m the manager of the Music & Arts store in Concord.

As a classically trained tenor, I have had the fortune of singing with North Carolina based choirs such as Sine Nomine and the Carolina Catholic Chorale, as well as the Southern Appalachian Chamber Singers, community groups, and church choirs throughout North Carolina. Classical music in all its forms- piano sonatas to oratorios- have been an integral part of my musical journey, informing much of the way that I listen to and explore music.

Outside of the classical realm, I am rock guitar player obsessed with 90’s alternative and grunge rock.

My expertise is primarily in vocal music and pedagogy, classical repertoire, acoustic, electric, and bass guitars.
