Get to know TJ
I've surrounded myself with music daily in any way possible for as long as I can remember; if you ask, I've likely dabbled with it in some way. And yup, I even still do fun things like take a walk in the park thinking as if I'm in a music video.
Woodwinds are my main instrument group and have played in marching bands, jazz groups, ensembles, musicals, pep band, etc. Of the woodwinds, the flute was my starter and a constant go-to for coming up 19 years now; in addition to that, I play piccolo and tenor saxophone. Outside of those, I have been a vocalist -- in groups and musicals -- along with picking up the guitar, piano, percussion, and some brass instruments every now and then. And surely if an opportunity comes up, I will play all others as well. Recently I am getting back into the guitar at every free choice I can get. If I'm not doing music, I can also be found at a local show or concert as a photographer or in the mosh pit!
Other than performing as an instrumentalist I've also performed as an actor and/or ensemble dancer in many musicals, theatre troupes, Shakespear plays -- even have help as the head or assistant director/manager to some plays. Previously, I've also been inducted into the Tri-M Music Honors Society and the National Thespian Honor Society.
