Get to know Victor Fernandez
Hi, I'm Victor, and I come all the way from Texas. I've been playing Flute/Piccolo/Alto Flute for 20+ years and I am an accomplished woodwind musician. I also know how to play all brass and woodwind instruments on a beginner level. I've played with the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra and the Houston Flute Society's Flute Choir, for a few years in Texas. Since moving to Washington in 2018, I've played with the Evergreen Community Orchestra and Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra, Ballard Civic Orchestra, before finding my place with the Rainbow City Orchestra and Flutrange. I also am a member of the Seattle Flute Society. I have even had the opportunity to play with members of the Symphony Tacoma Orchestra.
I've marched Drum Corps International (DCI) doing Colorguard with Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps in Texas and 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in Connecticut. As well as Winterguard International (WGI) with Redemption Winterguard in Texas.
I am also an instrument repair technician. I graduated from Renton Technical College for their Band Instrument Repair Technology Program. I also hold a bachelor's degree in business marketing
