Get to know Victor Mora
Victor Mora is a music educator and performer based in Dallas. He performs with his classical brass quintet regularly across the metroplex. He has taught students from McKinney, Prosper, and Frisco ISD here at Music & Arts in both the Frisco and McKinney stores.
Victor has played with multiple groups both on-campus and off campus over the past several years of: The Dallas Asian Wind Ensemble, The Victor Mora Brass Quintet, UNT’s 8 o'clock lab band, The TCCBDA All-State Jazz Band, his group Grupo Latino, The UNT Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble, UNT’s marching band “The Green Brigade”, The UNT Basketball Band, and UNT’s “University Band”. Victor studied Music Education at The University of North Texas, Music at Dallas College - Richland, and Graduated from Lake Highlands High School.
Victor has taught privately in Anna ISD, Forney ISD, Denton ISD, Richardson ISD, and Music & Arts for 5 years and now teaches privately with his wife Odalys Mendez around the DFW Metroplex. Prior to managing our Garland location, Victor was an early childhood education specialist at Gymboree Play and Music of Southlake, where he ran Play, Music, and Art classes as well as their Gymboree On-the-go Program, which took Gymboree's classes and curriculum over to Montessori's and Daycares.
