Brass playing requires focus, not physical ability
Aaron Holt is the Brass instructor at Music and Arts in Leesburg; he specializes in teaching Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium/Baritone, and Tuba.
Aaron has a certified teaching degree in instrumental music education from George Mason University. He studied Trumpet under world renowned teachers Phil Snedecor (Wolf trap, National Symphony Orchestra) and Dennis Edelbrock (Army Herald Trumpets, Founder of National Trumpet Competition). He regularly performs with the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and has also performed Jazz repertoire with the Silver Tones swing band both based in Warrenton, VA.
Aaron teaches a diverse curriculum which involves understanding proper and efficient brass playing technique, music theory study, extensive repertoire study (based upon the students needs and desires) and traditional solo literature for more advanced students. Any student of his will be able to play a brass instrument more easily, consistently, and with less physical effort than ever before. Including, having a greater sense of how to play music correctly the first time.
