About Me

Hey there! As the newest member of the Fox Valley Music & Arts family, I am eager to build a strong relationship with all of our valued customers.

I currently hold a Bachelor of Music from Western Illinois University, with an emphasis in Music Business and Marketing. My musical career started when I picked up the cornet as a sixth grader. I went on to study trumpet in college as my principle instrument. In addition to the trumpet, I began learning how to play piano and drum set in middle school. I attended Marmion Academy for high school where I performed in the school band, choir, and Military Band. At Western Illinois University, I performed in the concert band as well as the steel band.

In addition to performing in school-related music programs, I have a generous amount of experience playing drums live and recording with various bands, with genres ranging from punk-ska, to funk, to experimental. Furthermore, I am the former sound manager for Westec Sound and Lighting, where I mixed live sound ranging from small events to big rock concerts.

After completing my college coursework, I became the business intern for Groovemaster Recording Studios, which is owned and operated by the well-known producer, Johnny K, who produced bands such as Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, and Megadeth, to name a few. Before joining the Music & Arts team, I also taught trumpet and piano lessons part time.

In my free time I enjoy composing and recording music, working on my car, and playing StarCraft.
