About Annie Jewell
Annie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May of 2017, where she received her BA in Music, with a minor in Spanish. During her time at UNCG she learned many different styles of teaching, conducting, performance, and musicology. Studying under the instruction of Fabian Lopez, she has mastered an understanding of performing and teaching the violin. During her time taking private voice lessons and conducting the West Market Street United Methodist Church Cherub Choir and as an interim conductor for the Wrightsville United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, Annie learned the intricacies of molding both young and old voices.
Annie has taught students ages 3-70, and she enjoys the challenges students present at every musical level! She is an advocate for equal opportunity teaching, and edits lesson plans based on each individual student's needs and backgrounds. Whether you want to learn Bach or Bieber, Annie will create a stimulating atmosphere of learning for you.
She looks forward to meeting and working with students of all ages and experience levels!
