About Tony Palkovic

Praised by the prestigious Guitar Player Magazine, Tony Palkovic has been a performer/teacher for more than 40 years.

He has played at colleges, festivals, clubs and concert halls. Sharing the bill with such acts as Jeff Lorber with Kenny G., The Average White Band, Richard Elliot, The James Gang, Three Dog Night and the legendary Weather Report.
 
He has recorded 5 solo albums with guest arstist: B3 Legend Brian Auger, Patrick Moraz (Yes, and The Moody Blues), Kofi Baker (son of Cream's Ginger Baker), Jorge Strunz (Strunz and Farah), Bunny Brunel (Chick Corea), Jamie Glaser (Jean-Luc Ponty), Matt Malley (Counting Crows) and Krys Mach (Level 42).
 
He also holds a Bachelors Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston teaching Guitar, Bass and Piano.
 
Expert Guitar Instruction from a Berklee College of Music Graduate. Over 40 years experience teaching, performing, recording in all styles of music. 
Specializes in Jazz, Rock, Blues, Classical etc. at any level - learn that instrument you have always wanted to play! He gives his students the basics: reading music; chord construction; scales; technique; improvisation. Students are guided in the proper manner to reach the higher levels of proficiency, in the direction they are interested.
