Anthony has been a music educator teaching private lessons in percussion since 2016, and his studio has included students of various levels and ages. He has also been an instructor for local high school marching ensembles and a tutor for music theory through the Shepherd University Music Department. His goal as a private music instructor is to foster an appreciation for all kinds of music and to help his students in setting and reaching their musical goals. He believes in using music that students already know and enjoy to teach technical concepts about the instrument. During their lessons, his students will focus on mastering essential musical concepts such as rhythm, dynamics, proper technique and form, phrasing, and the ability to effectively play in an ensemble setting.
