Bachelor of Performance Baldwin Wallace

About Benjamin

Ben Guegold has a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music where he studied under Jack Sutte, second trumpet of the Cleveland Orchestra. Ben performed with multiple ensembles at Baldwin Wallace including the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Brass Choir. During this time, he also studied with Jack Brndiar, the principal trumpet of the Cleveland Chamber Symphony.

For the past two years, Ben has performed with the Cumberland Orchestra and Sewanee Symphony at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, where he studied with the third trumpet of the Metropolitan Opera, Peter Bond. Ben has also studied with Rob Patron, the Associate Professor of Jazz Trumpet at the University of North Texas.

Ben is currently a member of the Cleveland-based Brick Wall Brass Quintet, while also working as a brass technician with the Westerville North Marching Band and teaching trumpet at Music & Arts in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
