About Brandon

Brandon is a woodwind player and vocalist from Colorado Springs, CO.  He has performed with orchestras, bands, choirs, and barbershop quartets.  He has also performed in musical theater, both on stage and in the pit orchestra.

For the past four years, Brandon has been teaching students of all ages and has helped them improve their technique and increase their confidence while playing or singing.  His students consistently receive Superior ratings in the state Solo & Ensemble contests, and they are selected for high level scholastic and community ensembles.

Brandon believes in continually expanding his musicianship and technique for the benefit of his students.  He believes that working on relaxed and beautiful tone is the key to the enjoyment of playing and singing, and he focuses on these elements in his lessons.  He also strives to stay up-to-date with current pedagogy and enjoys challenging himself with new genres, styles, and instruments.

Before moving to Denver, Brandon previously was an adjunct music instructor at Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs.  Brandon also currently serves as the Vice President of Music & Performance on the board of directors for the America the Beautiful Barbershop Chorus.
