Brianna Lombino is a coloratura soprano who recently graduated from Syracuse University.  She studied under Professor Eric Johnson, as a voice performance major. She is a member and soloist for Oratorio Society, Hendricks Chapel Choir, Baroque Ensemble, Contemporary Ensemble, and Opera workshop. Some of her favorite moments at Syracuse University have been singing the role of Adele in Die Fledermaus, Madame Goldentrill in scenes from L’Impressario, Sophie from Der Rosenkavalier and working with Lucy Sheldon on “The Art of Unaccompanied Art Song.” She also was a chorus member of Syracuse Opera, the professional opera company in the area.

                For ten years before Syracuse, she has been a part of Concordia Youth Chorale, and with this choir she has toured Europe and the United States. The conductors of this SSA choir are John and Cynthia Balme. With this groups Brianna has sung as a chorister and a soloist in Bavaria, Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Canada, and Germany. In places like Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Notre Dame, St. Paul’s Chapel next to Ground Zero, and the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
