About Cameron Ebersole

Cameron Ebersole grew up in Western Maryland where the first musical instrument he played was the cello in his school's orchestra. Soon after, in middle school, he got his hands on a guitar and was hooked immediately. He quickly developed as a guitar player and began to take private lessons while also performing in local groups.  As he began to pursue his career as a musician, he started teaching children and teenagers who attended his parents' church, which helped him grow in his abilities as a performer and instructor.

In 2010, Cameron began taking classes at Towson University, where he studied jazz guitar with Steve Herberman and Dr. Shawn Purcell, and classical guitar with Michael Decker.  He has since graduated from Towson and holds a B.M. in Guitar with a concentration in Jazz/Commercial Guitar Performance.

Cameron has experience teaching students of all ages, both kids and adults alike, and caters his teaching style to the individual to help them meet their musical goals.

"I enjoy customizing my lessons to the interests of my students; teaching rock, jazz, blues, and classical guitar styles. Learning an instrument should be fun and engaging, and an outlet for creativity."
