After graduating from CSUN, she gravitated toward learning traditional music of the Philippines. Thanks to Kayamanan Ng Lahi (“Treasures of Our People”) and Rondalla Club of Los Angeles, she expands her knowledge in percussion and strings. With information lost throughout history, she felt it was important to preserve the music and teachings of the masters - Guro Dangonan Kalanduyan, Ramon Obusan, Rodolfo Conejo, Felipe De Leon, and Tagumpay De Leon, to name a few. Camille willingly holds an important role in LA’s Filipino-American community by preserving and presenting the sounds and spirits of the Philippines through their music. She is grateful for the music that has been her passport to different parts of the world - France, Hawaii, The Philippines, Japan, and New Orleans.
While she is currently teaching private lessons in Westlake Village, CA, Camille is also a student of Beat Lab Academy for music production. She holds a place in her heart for the Los Angeles beat community for its combination of genres and slacked undertone. Learning to produce her own music and perform it live has been a limitless, confidence-building, and enjoyable way for Camille to share all of her life’s adventures into space for people to enjoy.
