About Me

South Texas native Carisse graduated with a B.A. in Music Education from the Department of Music and Drama from Texas Woman’s University in May of 2014. While there, Carisse had the privilege of studying clarinet under the guidance of Dr. Garry Evans, E-flat clarinetist with the Dallas Wind Symphony, and with clarinet professional Dr. Danielle Woolery. During her undergrad, Carisse performed with the TWU Wind Symphony, Opera Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Clarinet Choir and the Pioneer Pep Band. She was also a member of the University of Texas Pan-American Wind Ensemble and Clarinet Choir. She is an active member of Texas Music Educators of America and International Clarinet Association.

Upon completing her degree, Carisse has acquired certification to teach in the state of Texas and provides private clarinet lessons for beginner to intermediate students in the Denton area. In addition, she has been actively performing as a lead guitarist with local Denton bands, participating in DFW festivals and events.

Carisse provides specialized assistance in woodwinds, 6-string acoustic and electric guitar, amplifiers and effects pedals.
