About

I have been a professional musician and teacher of trumpet for over 50 years. I have played principal trumpet with The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and The Caracas (Venezuela) Philharmonic Orchestra. I was a Trumpet/Cornet instrumentalist with The United States Naval Academy Band for 20 years, performing in the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, Marching Band, Next Wave ( Jazz Ensemble), Commandant's Combo, and Gold Brass Quintet. I was also the assistant arranger for the band as well. I retired from the Navy in 2005. Currently, I am a member of The Hank Levy Band and The Don Arnold Band. I have also recorded for The Musical Heritage Society. I seek to make trumpet lessons enjoyable for students of all ages, and I tailor my approach to each individual student.
