About Carli Kennedy

Carli Kennedy is an award-winning guitarist, pianist, songwriter and vocalist with over 17 years of teaching experience in classical and popular music. Originally from the West Coast of Canada, Carli is a Distinguished Alumni Award recipient from the University of Victoria where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music for Guitar Performance. She is in demand as an educator, performer and masterclass coach, with past students receiving gold medals from the Royal Conservatory of Music and entrance to prestigious music schools including Berklee College of Music. Carli is known for her positive and upbeat teaching style - she creates an encouraging learning atmosphere for all of her students and strives to tailor every lesson to each student's interests and inspirations. Her music has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Billboard and CMT, and Carli tours across North America as one-half of award-winning country/roots duo Twin Kennedy!
