About Cecelia

Cecelia Stevens is an active teacher and performer in the North Florida/South Georgia region. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Valdosta State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and is currently finishing up her Masters of Music degree in Horn Performance at the University of Florida. Outside of university ensembles, Cecelia performs regularly with the Valdosta and Albany Symphony Orchestras, and has been a participant at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival and Kendall Betts Horn Camp. She is a member of the International Women's Brass Conference, International Horn Society, and the National Association for Music Educators. Her primary teachers have included Dr. Paul Basler, Dr. Kristen Johns, and Prof. Alexander Shuhan.
