About Charlotte Roth

Charlotte Roth is an active performer and teacher. She has held tenure with the Huntsville Symphony since 2017, where she plays piccolo and third flute. In 2018 she won the position of piccolo and assistant principal flute of the Owensboro Symphony. She has also performed as a guest musician with the Louisville Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony, the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera Orchestra, and the Evansville Philharmonic. A native of Boonville, she attended Signature High School and played in the Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra for six years. She finished her high school education at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. She then attended the Eastman School of Music, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Music and was awarded a Performer’s Certificate in 2014. After graduating she earned a Master’s of Music degree from Northwestern University in 2016. She currently lives in Louisville where she maintains a full teaching studio, and performs regularly with the A/Tonal.
