Corin is currently a Jazz/ Music Ed major, at Temple University. He grew up and attended school in Cheltenham, PA where he played percussion, clarinet, and guitar in various ensembles. He began studying guitar at the age of eleven, and while jazz is his focus, he started by playing rock, and spent four years studying classical guitar. In the past few years, he has played for local productions of The Little Mermaid, The Adam’s Family, Shrek, Bye Bye Birdie, James and the Giant Peach, Zanna Don’t!, Sister Act, and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. More recently ,he has performed in ensembles directed by great artists such as Tony Miceli, Mike Natale, and Tim Green. Regardless of style or genre, Corin has a strong belief that improvisation is the key to a deeper understanding of music.
