Performance Experience: I played in a cover band for 3 years 4 nights a week then formed my own band playing all original music playing gigs and opening for national acts including Yngwie Malmsteen,Pat Travers,Kings'X,Reeves Gabrels(David Bowie),Savoy Brown,Head East,Marbin.
Teaching Experience: I have been teaching guitar since 1989 in the south eastern region of Virginia

My name is Jay and i have loved music all my life,I started playing the guitar when i was 8 years old and have been playing the guitar for 50+years and still love it to this day.Music is a way of life for me and I'm so lucky that I get to make a living doing something that I love!I really love teaching and helping students get better on their instrument and seeing the joy they get as i do from learning.
