About Daniel

I began playing piano at four years old. At first I just played anything I heard, Happily this helps me even today to learn large amounts of music rapidly.

I began public performances when I was eight years old and recorded my first record when I was fifteen. I began playing more of the larger venues in NY at that time.
I received my undergraduate degree at Hofstra University in Music Theory and Composition. I went on to the Aaron Copeland School of Music and the Brooklyn Conservatory for my MA in Music Theory.
My experience is quite varied, I learned and continue to play Classical Music but the majority of my shows are with Rock Bands or as back up for a singer or choir. My specialities include:
  • Rock (progressive, metal, symphonic, pop)
  • Classical
  • Gospel
  • Latin
I consider myself a lead keyboardist. While I can provide a base for other instruments I can play any solo whether keyboard, brass or guitar....yes, I will make it sound like a guitar solo.
I teach all styles of music from beginning to the expert level. I have been teaching for 35 years and my students leave me with the ability to play anything they want to play.
I listen to everything from Mozart to Metallica, what ever style you want, I can teach it!
