Daphne hails from Fredericksburg, VA originally and currently lives in Alexandria. She picked up music in Elementary school playing Piano. She soon moved to Clarinet followed by the Saxophone where Daphne found her calling in the Blues and Jazz genres but continues to absorb all kinds of music.
For over 20 years Daphne has played in a variety of bands and performed all across the DMV area most recent of which is the ska band; Thirteen Towers. She recently joined the Music & Arts family in 2018 but has been teaching since 1998. She studied at Mary Washington College (now University of Mary Washington) and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
