About Sarah Barham
Sarah Barham received her B.M. in Piano Performance and B.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of Maryland, from which she graduated cum laude in May of 2017. She has played the piano for 19 years and taught privately for 4 years before coming to Music & Arts. Sarah made her orchestral début at the age of 15 with the Capital City Symphony and JMU Symphony Orchestras. Since then, she has won numerous awards and competitions throughout D.C., MD, and VA and has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Sarah teaches all age groups and skill levels and specializes in Classical music, although she encourages students to play music of all genres and is happy to incorporate other styles into her lessons.
