About Pamela

Pamela Momyer brings with her a wide range of professional experience as an organist, pianist and choral director.  She holds a Master of Music Degree in Organ from the Juilliard School and Bachelor's Degree in Organ Performance from Montclair State University.  Among her numerous public appearances, she has performed as an Organ soloist at Alice Tully Hall, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Columbia University and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. 

Pamela is Choral Director and Organist at First Lutheran Church of Montclair, New Jersey.  She also serves as the choral accompanist at Oak Hill Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey.  Previously, she was the Choir Director and Organist at Temple Shalom in Aberdeen, New Jersey

Additionally, she has served on the faculty of the Monmouth Conservatory of Music, both as an instructor and director of the Children's Opera Chorus. Pamela has been the Choral Director for the Plainfield Area Children's Choir festival, which combines children's choirs from approximately 13 area churches and maintains a choir of 180 young voices.  She has served as the Chorus Director at Ranney School in Tinton Falls and St. John Vianney High School in Holmdel. She is a past member of the executive board of the Monmouth Chapter of the American Guild Organists.

Pamela holds the title of Managing Director for FootNotes music studio and is well known as a private teacher of piano and organ. Accredited as a Kindermusik instructor, she is committed to quality music education for children. She has served as musical director, coordinator and accompanist in numerous musicals, theater productions and private recitals.  In addition, she has served as the Rehearsal Assistant and Accompanist for the Arcadian Chorale.
