Elaine diFalco has been composing, performing, and recording music, often collaborating with musicians from the United States and Europe. Her discography reflects an eclectic array of projects that span thirty years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in music, graduating summa cum laude. She has been teaching piano studio lessons to very young children and adults since 2007, including at the After School Academy at Alexander Dawson Elementary School in Lafayette, Colorado. She has been a lecturer of Rock and Roll History at University of Colorado at Boulder and directed a vocal chorus at Naropa University in Boulder. She is currently a graduate student in Interdisciplinary Music Composition at University of North Texas, incorporating new media art into her academic work. She is a versatile music educator and strives to cultivate a sense of enjoyment for the process of learning and skill acquisition by tailoring her lessons to the styles and interests of each individual student.
