About Elisa Muzzillo
Elisa Muzzillo is a classical flutist and teacher in the greater Philadelphia area. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance at Temple University and a Master of Music in Flute Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder. Elisa has performed nationwide in renowned orchestral and opera festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, Texas Music Festival, Pierre Monteux School, and the Music Academy International Festival in Siena, Italy. She has also performed with the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra in Wyoming and the Longmont Symphony Orchestra in Colorado. Aside from orchestral and opera engagements, she is a passionate chamber musician and has appeared with new music initiatives around the city including ENAensemble, Live/Wire Opera Company, and her own flute & voice duo Primari Qolors with mezzo-soprano Tessa Romano. Elisa is a certified Suzuki Flute Instructor where she teaches at the Flute & Friends Suzuki Music Academy in West Philadelphia, and she also teaches privately at Music & Arts in Broomall, PA. Elisa’s primary teachers include Christina Jennings, Brook Ferguson, Adeline Tomasone, and Ronna Ayscue.
